Prints a facsimile of form 4419 (Application for Filing Information Returns) and a facsimile of form 8809 (Request for Extension of Time).

Simplified Data Entry

The easy to use data entry program allows for input of all fields required for printing and electronic reporting of each form. Once the type of form is specified all screens are tailored to that type of form.  There are two methods of entry, a rapid entry and a form view entry.  In the form view entry, the fields appear on the screen exactly as they do on the printed form.

Import File

This may be the most important feature of the system for you.  Data may be imported from ASCII files. The import process is controlled by user defined parameters.  It can import files that are comma delimited, tab delimited, or fixed length records (Excel spreadsheets).  Files in the IRS format may also be imported.  For example one created last year or by another software system.  We have made importing very easy to use, but our support staff is standing by to help you if you need it (We do not want you struggling with any part the the system).

Prints Forms

The WorldSharp™ 1099 Preparation System prints all the supported 1098 and 1099 tax forms either on pre-printed forms or blank paper.  Since it prints on blank paper, you can save the cost of purchasing expensive forms. Works with both Ink Jet and Laser Jet Printers.  The system is shipped with print parameters to allow printing on standard forms, however these parameters may be adjusted by the user to work on any forms.

Creates Files for Electronic Filing

It is so easy to create the file to transmit to the IRS that you will not want to mail printed forms to the IRS even if you have only 10 forms to submit. Creates files in the format required by the IRS for electronic transmission. The system is updated each year to reflect the format changes that are made by the IRS. WorldSharp™ is proud of its acceptance rate, but in the rare event that your files are rejected by the IRS, WorldSharp™ will analyze your files and help you prepare replacement files that will meet requirements.  Corrections can be filed electronically also. Prints Forms 4804, 4419 and 8809 if needed.

Handles Corrections

The system allows the user to make corrections to forms already reported. Many WorldSharp™ customers use mainframe computers for initial electronic reporting and use WorldSharp™ 1099 Preparation System to print and report corrections.

Multi-Company/Multi-file

The Multi-company capability of the system allows it to handle many different types of forms and forms for many different companies. This capability makes the system ideal to use even in a service bureau environment.

Retain Data Base

For some applications, after reporting, the amounts may be removed and the names and address retained to be used the following year.
