WorldSharp™ Bond/Stockholder Accounting System [Windows 95, 98, NT(4.0), [Windows 95, 98, NT(4.0), 2000, Me, 2003, XP, Vista] Single User or Network Version! Registered Bond & Stockholder Accounting - This system may be used to handle the certificate transfers, dividend (cash or stock) and interest calculation, certificate and check printing, 1099's and associated functions for both bond holders and stockholders. Maintains comprehensive accounting records by holder and certificate. Supports book entry recording. Multiple Maturity Dates And Interest Rates Bond Issues that have multiple maturity dates and varying interest rates may be processed as one issue. Information for holders owning certificates in more than one 'sub-issue' is entered only once. Holders may receive individual or consolidated interest checks and consolidated 1099's. Multi-Issue Operation The system will allow user to easily switch to appropriate issue. With the Multi-user version, users at different workstations may work on different issues or the same issue simultaneously. Moving between 'sub-issues' or CUSIP's is efficient and does not require entry of CUSIP numbers. On Line Balancing While adding, canceling or displaying certificates, a continuous display of the number of active shares or dollars is maintained. As certificates are canceled and new certificates are issued, the system will display the number of shares out-of-balance. Multiple Add Or Cancel If a number of bonds in sequence are issued to the same holder, they may be added or canceled with one operation. Calculations Some of the calculations performed by the system include Interest, Cash Dividend, Stock Dividend, Stock Splits, Reverse Splits, OID and Bond Call. Variable rate bonds may be accommodated. A specified amount may be spread to all active holders in proportion to their holdings. The system can handle long or short interest periods. For securities or bonds with dividends or interest payments that are taxable, the system calculates backup withholding when required. User may specify the number of decimal places (0 to 6) to be used for fractional shares. Stock Dividends And Splits Provides a variety of options to facilitate stock dividends and forward or reverse splits. Checks and 1099's can be printed for amounts paid in lieu of fractional shares. Alternate Addresses The system allows for the use of an alternate address in the printing of dividend or interest checks in the event the check is to be sent to other than the registered holder. There is also an alternate address for 1099 reporting. Check Printing It is not necessary to buy special checks when using this system. Existing checks may be used since this system allows each user to specify the printing format and the location of the various fields to be printed. This printing format may be changed whenever desired. Amount may be printed in words making the use of check protection unnecessary. Either single sheet forms or continuous forms may be used. Items may be transferred to the WorldSharp™ Check Reconciliation System (included at no additional charge). A user defined export of the issued checks can be created by the system. Logos, MICR characters, and signature images can be printed on checks. Certificate Printing The WorldSharp™ Bond/Stockholder System facilitates the printing of certificates in accordance with the most recent American National Standards Institute (ANSI) specifications. Each user may specify the printing format to produce a certificate which is customized to their existing forms; no need to buy forms to satisfy the rigid requirements of some computer. The required "amount matrix" and "asterisk fill" is embodied within this system to ensure the security and integrity of all "quantity" fields on the certificate. Single sheet forms or continuous forms may be used. Logos and signature images may be printed. Bond Call Bond Call Processing gives the user the capability of assigning the parameters for a subsequent full or partial Bond Call. The Bond Call feature will randomly select called bonds (lottery), print called bonds report, update alert flags in the certificate file, print checks for called bonds, print notices for called bonds, automatically cancel all certificates flagged as "CALLED" and create new certificates. The system will also support serial calls. · ACH and Wire Transfer Holders may be coded so that dividend or interest payments may be wire transferred or directly deposited to checking or savings accounts. Files in standard ACH (Automated Clearing House) format are created for bank processing. User defined documents can be prepared for Wire Transfers. 1099 Preparation The system prints 1099's in a standard or user defined format on pre-printed forms or blank paper. Files may be produced for electronic reporting to the IRS. The WorldSharp 1099 Preparation System which is included creates, prints and electronically files all 1099 tax forms. Dividend Re-Investment The system supports dividend re-investment for stockholder accounting. Re-invested dividends may be held as book entry items or certificates may be issued. User defined holder statements may be printed. Report Printing A full span of reports may be printed by this system to satisfy the needs of the most demanding user.
